All done. Today, I did a rather short last round of yoga which will be complemented tomorrow morning if I can lift myself out of bed before the June Bug awakens on the German labor day. But, here is my challenge recap:
I did do yoga every single day of April. More and longer during the first two weeks. Shorter, yet more intense in the last two plus two days. The intensity probably carried over from the rest o my life which looked like this in April:
. A business plan, around ten business-related meetings, one workshop, the first school visit, around two hours of cold calling schools, and a visit to an office that must be the pettiest in the world. Found an office space.
. Five calls to the US (can only be made at night) plus three calls with an agency in Germany regarding child support. (Men are such silly in the least.) Oh, yes, the problem is not solved yet.
. Broke the habit of bedtime nursing to sleep (YAY me!!). Well, at least until three nights ago when she started teething. Played in the dirt (she’s a gardener). Witnessed first steps without encouragement at TJ Maxx (she’s a Maxxinista as well, hehe). Repeat of walking at home.
. Turned my life upside down by going out and getting rather interested in a Russian. Nothing come of it yet…
. Started to tell my truth again – mainly towards manipulating, guilt-card-playing relatives. (Tough work.)
. Stayed on top of my to-do-list for most of the month.
As you can see, I am a wee bit proud of myself, but also exhausted! Not as exhausted as Kath must be though.
I will catch up with the rest of the posts this week which is also my last week on maternity leave. I can’t wait for life to slow down in 18+ years, but I am loving every second of now!!!
